Consolidated 1950s Alnico coaxial speakers

These drivers are a bit of a mystery, but I am listing them here because they are actually quite nice sounding old alnico drivers. The speaker codes on the frame seem to indicate that they were manufactured by Consolidated, maybe in the 1950’s or early 1960’s. They are a 12 inch alnico woofer paired with a nice alnico paper tweeter. Efficient, well balanced and rich sounding, these old speakers still make great music! I’ve seen a few others on eBay from time to time, mostly under $50. For that price, these are a great value!
